how can you miss someone you've only spent a few hours with?i dont know.
maybe it's because in those few moments you were with that person, you realized what you have been missing all your life. that in that brief period of time, you became totally sold to the idea that another person completes you. now, when that time is over and it first dawns on you that you may never get another set of chances with that person; that you might, forever be, no more than friends, it numbs you.
and no matter how you try to pick up the pieces of your heart and bond them with the glue of temporary joys, it would never be the same heart that would fit the hollow in your chest. there's a gap surrounding it, where there was none before.
crazy, but you might have actually willed your heart to shrink and leave that space around, hoping that one day, that person would surrender to your love, and decide to fill the space between.

as some quote goes... some people who walk into your life aren't meant to stay... they're just there to teach. (or something like that. hehe.)

we get hurt, we get wounded, pained, scarred..
healing will come.. but not always..
sometimes one would choose not to heal because this completes his/her being..

nah.. that's just how it is
no matter how hard we try to simplify stuff relating to matters of the heart.. it will never be simple and uncomplicated...
and this is what makes it all better.. when that person who chooses the hard path is "sided" by his/her special someone..
at the end of it all.. you are still together
lucky and blessed are those who stick together for they find more meaning to life.. as one..
sad for those who give up.. they did not know what they had, until it went away and chose to stop.
